This section guides you around a number of addins which can enhance your experience with Mercury and assist in making your time in Mercury more productive.
Mercury Desktop is built slightly different to the Browser version which allows a little more freedom for the developers to bring new features to Mercury.
Both the Browser and Desktop versions are "Cloud based" which means they connect to the same database so the data found within is identical.
Desktop also integrates with Microsoft Word, so allows easier editing of documents within Mercury.
Mercury Desktop requires Adobe Air which will be installed as part of the Mercury Desktop installer.
Mercury Outlook addin
The Mercury Outlook addin is a program that will allow you to send emails and attachments from Microsoft Outlook to Mercury opportunities and person records.
Before installation, you need to make sure you download the correct version for your combination of Operating System (Windows XP/Vista/7/8) and Outlook version (32 bit or 64 bit).

To download the Outlook addin, chose the version which matches your Operating System and Outlook edition.

Teamviewer allows Mercury Helpdesk staff to remotely access your computer in order to provide support when you are having difficulties.
When required, a Helpdesk member will call you and ask you to run a small Teamviewer downloader available from the Admin tab in Mercury.
Occasionally there may be an issue affecting your ability to access Mercury. In these cases the downloader can be installed directly from www.teamviewer.com
Then click on the "Teamviewer Quick Support" option:
This will download and install the required software.
Once the software runs, you will be provided with a Customer ID and Password. Read these aloud to the Helpdesk staff and they will then be able to access and control your computer remotely.
