Submit and manage applications in LoanApp from Mercury

Use this guide to submit, access, and manage LoanApp lodgements directly from your Mercury Opportunity.

Use this guide to submit an application to LoanApp from Mercury, access existing lodgements, and understand what you can and cannot manage within the Opportunity record.

Submit an application to LoanApp

You can access LoanApp directly from the Opportunity record in Mercury.

Create and prepare your Opportunity

Before submitting:

  • Create your Opportunity record.

  • Select a LoanApp-supported lender.

  • Ensure all relevant client and loan data is entered.

Important: If you do not select either Full Doc or Low Doc in the Opportunity, you will be prompted to choose one before LoanApp opens.

Submit to LoanApp

To submit:

  • Open the Opportunity.

  • Click Submit to LoanApp.

LoanApp will open and automatically populate with data already entered in:

  • The Opportunity

  • Associated Contact records

Complete the remaining application details in LoanApp, then submit to the lender from within LoanApp.

Open an existing LoanApp lodgement

Once an Opportunity has been submitted to LoanApp, the Submit to LoanApp button changes to Edit in LoanApp.

To open an existing application:

  • Open the Opportunity.

  • Click Edit in LoanApp.

  • Select the relevant lodgement from the dropdown list.

View LoanApp lodgements in Mercury

You can view a summary of all LoanApp submissions linked to the Opportunity.

To access them:

  • Open the Opportunity.

  • Select the Lodgements tab in the sub-menu.

  • Double-click a lodgement in the grid to open it in LoanApp.

Clone or move a LoanApp application

LoanApp applications cannot be:

  • Cloned

  • Moved to another Opportunity

  • Linked across multiple Opportunities

If you need the application under a different Opportunity, you must start a new LoanApp submission from that record.

Delete or remove a LoanApp lodgement

You cannot delete or remove a LoanApp lodgement from an Opportunity record.

Unlock a LoanApp application

If an application is locked:

  • Contact the lender Business Development Manager (BDM) to request approval to unlock.

  • Once approved, raise a support ticket with LoanApp.

  • Provide the lender’s approval to LoanApp support for processing.

Note: Unlocking is actioned by LoanApp support after lender approval is confirmed.

Getting support

LoanApp includes in-app support.

To access it:

  • Open LoanApp.

  • Click the chat icon inside the application.
