Why is eSign not available for my ANZ application

Explains when and why ANZ applications are not eligible for eSign, and what to check before submitting supporting documents.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Use this guide to understand why the eSign option may not be available for your ANZ application and what triggers this restriction.

When eSign is not available for ANZ applications

ANZ business rules prevent the use of eSign when certain features or products are included in the application. If these apply, the eSign option will not appear in the Supporting docs tab.

This happens because additional ANZ forms are generated and included in the print package, making the application ineligible for eSign.

ANZ business rules that disable eSign

eSign is not available when a CRS or Rate Lock form is generated for the application. This occurs if any of the following apply:

  • A new credit card is selected with a Breakfree package

  • The product selected is an Equity Manager product

  • Rate Lock is selected as a loan feature

Important: If any of these conditions apply, the supporting documents must be printed and signed manually. eSign cannot be enabled later for the same application.

What to check before sending documents

Before preparing documents for your client, confirm whether:

  • A Rate Lock has been selected

  • A Breakfree package credit card is included

  • An Equity Manager product has been chosen

If so, plan for wet signature documents and allow extra time for signing and return.

What happens next

Once documents are manually signed:

  • Upload the signed documents via the Supporting docs tab

  • Submit the application as normal
