You have worked hard to create a process that works for your business and the last thing you want is to change it to suit your broker platform. Mercury Nexus allows you to customise Statuses and Status Group to reflect the processes you have in place.

How do I edit statuses?

In the Status Editor, you can add or delete a Status within an Opportunity Type. You can also assign a Status to a Status Group. To do this:

  1. Open the Admin add and select CRM Setting from the main left-hand menu.

  2. Navigate to Status Editor in the top menu.

  3. Use the drop-down to select the relevant Opportunity Type.

  4. To add a new Status:

    1. Click the + Add

  5. Click the Status Group drop down arrow to assign it to a Status Group.

  6. You can reorder your status by clicking on the grip dots and dragging it to the correct position.

  7. To delete a status:

    1. Highlight it and then press the Delete button.

Note. You will need to log out of Mercury Nexus for the change to take effect.

Can I change a status name?

  1. Open the Admin add and select CRM Settings from the main left-hand menu.

  2. Navigate to Status Editor in the top menu.

  3. Highlight the relevant status and double click to edit the name.

How do I add a Status Group?

Status Groups allow you to organising statuses in a way that makes sense to your business which helps with filters and reporting. To add or edit a Status Group:

  1. Open the Admin app and select CRM Settings from the main left-hand menu.

  2. Navigate to List Editor in the top menu.

  3. Highlight Status Group.

  4. To add a new Status Group:

    • Click the + Add.

    • Give your New List Item (Status Group) a name.
      Lists are sorted alphabetically, so we recommend using numbers to keep them in the correct order.

    • Click Ok.

  5. To change a Status Group name:

    • Highlight the new status and double click to edit the name.

  6. To delete a Status Group:

    • Highlight it and then press the Delete button.

Note. You will need to log out of Mercury Nexus for the change to take effect.
