Managing File Reviews

The Mercury Assurance Review System (MARS) makes it easier for you to keep your files in order and make any changes requested by the Compliance Team.

When the Compliance Team has completed a review, you will receive an email advising this has been undertaken and whether or not there are corrective actions which require your attention. If there are corrective actions that need your attention, you can access these from within Mercury Nexus.

Steps to Request Access

  1. Contact an Authorized Administrator: Reach out to a principal owner or an authorized account administrator of your business.

  2. Submit a Request: Ask the administrator to send a request to the Helpdesk to enable File Review access for your user account.

  3. Confirmation: Once the request is processed, you will receive confirmation that access has been granted.How to access file reviews

From the CRM Compliance tab Broker accounts can access file reviews, corrective actions and feedback. You can leave comments for the reviewer and complete a corrective action.

  1. Open the CRM app and select Compliance from the main left-hand menu.

  2. Navigate to File Reviews in the top menu.

  3. The files which have been reviewed will be displayed on the left-hand side of the screen. Use the arrow to expand the reviews for that file.

  4. Highlight the relevant review to display the Review Details.

  5. The Feedback tab you can access the summary of the file review.

  6. Navigate to the Corrective Actions to access the list of actions.

  7. Add any commentary in the Broker Comments section, this will save automatically.

  8. Tick the checkbox in the Fixed column when your Corrective Action has been fixed.

Note: Admin accounts do not have access by default. To request access for an admin staff member, first contact an authorized account administrator within your business. The administrator should then send a request to the Mercury Helpdesk via [email protected] to grant the necessary permissions.If you were logged in when access was granted, you need to log out and log back in to refresh your session and see the new options.If you do not see the File Review tab after following the steps above:

  • Verify with your administrator that the access request was successfully processed.

  • Ensure you are navigating to the Compliance section within Mercury.

  • Log out and log back in to refresh your session.

  • Contact the Helpdesk for further assistance if the issue persists.

Can I access a file review from the opportunity?

Your review actions can be accessed directly from the related opportunity. To do this:

  1. Open the CRM app and select Opportunities from the main left-hand menu.

  2. Open the relevant opportunity.

  3. Select Review Actions from the sub left-hand menu.

  4. Add any commentary in the Broker Comments section, this will save automatically.

  5. Tick the checkbox in the Fixed column when your Corrective Action has been fixed.
