Description

Find out how to download existing custom reports in Mercury Nexus and request new reports when you need tailored CRM data.

Use this guide to understand what custom reports are available in Mercury Nexus, how to access them, and what is required if you need a report built specifically for your business.

What are custom reports?

Custom reports extend Mercury Nexus’s standard reporting by providing access to specialised data sets. They help you identify data quality issues and gain deeper insight into your CRM records.

Custom reports sit separately from the preloaded reports available in the Reports area.

Accessing existing custom reports

Mercury Nexus includes several prebuilt custom reports that you can download at any time.

These currently include:

  • Duplicate Emails.

  • Duplicate People.

  • Intel Addresses.

To download a custom report:

  1. Open the CRM app in Mercury Nexus. Select Reports from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Custom report from the top menu.

  3. Choose the required report. Select Download report. The report downloads as an Excel file.

Tip: Run these reports regularly to clean up your CRM data and reduce duplicate records.

Requesting a new custom report

If the available custom reports do not meet your needs, you can request a new report through the Mercury Helpdesk.

When submitting a request, you must:

  • Clearly specify the data fields required

  • Confirm any date ranges needed

  • Obtain approval from your principal owner

Important: Custom report requests cannot be actioned without principal owner approval.

Please note that Completion timeframes vary depending on the complexity of the request. A delivery timeframe cannot be guaranteed.

What happens next

After you submit a request:

  • The Mercury team reviews the scope and complexity

  • You may be contacted for clarification

  • The report is built and delivered if approved
