Improving Mercury Nexus Email Deliverability with SPF and DKIM

This article outlines the SPF and CNAME/DKIM entries required to help prevent emails sent from Nexus being delivered to spam or junk folders

Updated this week

To ensure emails sent from Mercury Nexus don’t end up in your clients' spam or junk folders, follow these steps to update your domain settings. Share this information with your domain provider.

Sending Domains Used by Connective

Emails are sent using the following domains:

  • mercury-mail.connective.com.au

  • mercury-notification.connective.com.au

  • mercury-marketing.connective.com.au

SPF Update

To prevent email delivery issues, ensure your SPF record includes the following entry:
include:mailgun.org
If it’s not already in your SPF record, ask your domain provider to add it.

New CNAME Records for DKIM

Set up these CNAME records to enable DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail):

  • pdk1._domainkey.yourdomain → pdk1._domainkey.mercury-mail.connective.com.au

  • pdk2._domainkey.yourdomain → pdk2._domainkey.mercury-mail.connective.com.au

By making these updates, you can significantly improve email deliverability for Mercury Nexus communications.
