Assigning Emails to a Record with Mercury Inbox

Searching through emails is time consuming and frustrating. Mercury Nexus eliminates this task, allowing you to assign emails to save you the hassle of finding them in the future.

How do I assign an email to a record?

To access the Mercury Nexus inbox:

  1. Open the CRM app and select Inbox from the main left-hand menu.

  2. Highlight the email you want to assign and click the Allocate.

  3. Use the Save selected attachments to checkbox to allocate attachments to either the Opportunity/Person (accessed via Attachments) or Notes.

  4. Use the Select target Opportunity/Person search field to locate the record you want to assign the email to.

  5. Highlight the record and click the Assign The email will now appear on the relevant record as a Note.

How do I send an email directly to a record?

Opportunity and People records have unique email addresses that allow you to send emails directly to the record. To find the address:

  1. Open the CRM app and select either People or Opportunities from the main left-hand menu.

  2. Open the relevant record.

  3. Navigate to View Person Email Address or View Opportunity Email Address in the top menu.

  4. Click the Copy to Clipboard button to copy the address.

  5. Send the email to this email address. The email and any attachments will be stored automatically in the Notes section of the opportunity or person record.

The Mercury Nexus inbox supports a maximum of five file attachments at any one time. Anything over five will fail to send.
