We know how frustrating typing the same information over and over can be. That’s why we created our Snippets feature.
Snippets are a shortcut that allow you to place templated paragraphs of text in your Notes, including Emails, Tasks and the Compliance Workflow - with only with a few taps on your keyboard.
How do I create a Snippet template?
In order to use Snippets, you first need to create a Snippet Template:
Navigate to the Admin App, click on CRM Settings and select Snippets.
Click +Add, give your Snippet a Title, tick Notes/Tasks and add the template details.
NOTE: if you do not tick a section (Compliance, Tasks or Notes) then the Snippet will default to being available in all three sections.
Can I use snippets in the Compliance Workflow?
Connective has provided a full list of Snippet Templates for you to use in the Compliance Workflow. You can edit these Snippets by cloning them from the Snippet Templates section of the Admin App. You can also create your own Compliance Snippet Templates from here as well.

How do use the Snippet shortcut?
To use Snippets in your Notes, Emails and Tasks, simply insert the '@' symbol on your and select the Snippet from your list.
How do I use the Compliance Snippet Wizard?
Compliance Snippet Templates are available by using your '@' shortcut they are also available in the Compliance Snippet Wizard. The Compliance Snippet Wizard is a full-sized window that allows you to scroll through your list of Snippets so that you can craft a detailed Compliance note.
The Compliance Snippet Wizard is only available in the Compliance Workflow.
