What is the User History Log?
What is the User History Log?
Updated over a week ago

To have full control of your business, you need to know exactly what is happening in it. An audit log can help to improve security by providing useful information about all users. It can also be useful for troubleshooting different issues.

As part of our commitment to security and protecting your data, Mercury Nexus provides you with a detailed audit log containing the time, event, external IP address, physical location and interface of the connection of any users accessing the platform.

There is an audit log of Mercury account logins displayed in the My Details section of the Admin app under History. This will show the time, event, external ip address, physical location and interface of the connection.

How do I access the audit log?

To access your audit log:

  1. Open the Admin app and select My Details from the main left-hand menu.

  2. Navigate to History in the top menu.

What if I don't recognise a connection?

You may occasionally see different IP addresses and locations listed in the logs. Integrations such as Zapier will be listed under United States locations and IP addresses. If you have enlisted support from Connective when staff login using your account, it will appear in the logs.

If you are still unsure, please contact the Mercury Helpdesk team via [email protected]
