Hub Spotlight video - How to edit your Monthly eMag (Premium Plan Only)
Updated over 2 years ago

Premium subscribers have their own professionally written and branded client e-newsletter called eMag created for them and made available in their Digital Marketing Hub account, and sent to their contacts on a scheduled date each month.

The eMag ensures your business is always top of mind with your clients. Each newsletter is packed with mortgage and property related content designed to inform and educate, while acting as a call-to-action.

How does it work?

Your monthly eMag will be uploaded into your Digital Marketing Hub account each month. We’ll send you an email to let you know it’s there, and then you have the freedom to edit and make any changes to the template before the deadline for changes (view the eMag schedule here).

We then send the eMag to your clients for you on the scheduled date.

Important: Make sure you have assigned your contacts to the eMag category in Mercury (MM – eMag) to ensure your nominated clients receive it. You can learn how to assign MM categories here.

What can I edit?

You can change the layout of the template, the positioning of the images, text boxes, the colour scheme and so much more. You also have the freedom to edit the article summary if you wish.

It’s worth noting all the text in the eMag template has been approved by our compliance team, so we would suggest only making necessary changes. If you are a credit rep and you make changes, you will need to send your revised eMag to [email protected] for approval. This must be complete before the deadline for changes.

Ideas of what to include

You can include exciting new things happening in your company like a birthday, new staff or an upcoming event.

How do I go about changing my eMag?

You’ll receive an email advising you the eMag template is available for review. You can then make changes in the Digital Marketing Hub. Follow these steps:.

  1. Select the Campaigns tab on the home page and then click on Manage Templates. This is where your eMag template will be uploaded each month.

  2. Hover your mouse over the eMag template and select the green edit button

It would be worthwhile having a play around with the features of this area to understand how you can personalize your email template before it gets sent to your contacts.

  4. Once you're happy with your eMag changes, click Save & Exit.

Important: Ensure your edits are completed and saved before the cut-off date for changes. After this deadline, you will no longer be able to make changes, and we will send out what you have in there.

  5. It’s over to us. We send your eMag for you, with or without your changes, to any client you have in the Digital Marketing Hub and has been assigned to the MM – eMag category in Mercury.
