Why are my emails going to my clients spam
Why are my emails going to my clients spam

Sometimes your emails can land in your clients spam folder. We do our best to mitigate this however ultimately this is out of our control. It all depends on the contacts security and email settings.

We take as much precaution as possible by spam testing all of the templates before we put them into your account and all of the emails before we send them from your account.

When you create your own email campaign, on the summary page Digital Marketing Hub will spam test your the email before it is sent and you will be notified if there is a high risk. If your emails are going to spam, your contact can drag them into their primary folder so that the next email isn't marked as spam as well.

Below are some things to be mindful of when sending an email

  • Always get permission from your contacts to send them emails

  • Ensure your database is clean and you are only emailing contacts who are engaging in your emails

  • Ensure your subject line is not misleading (As the CAN-SPAM act states, it is actually against the law to intentionally mislead someone with your subject line in order to induce them to view the message).

  • Ensure that all emails have an unsubscribe option

  • Avoid spam trigger words eg guarantee, increase sales, risk-free, this is not spam, promise and free.
