Understanding Apply Online Error on Submission Messages in the Activity tab

Updated over 2 weeks ago

There are two Types of Errors :

  1. Data Error (Issue with your application)

  2. System Error (Issue with the Lender System)

Data Error

You can troubleshoot these types of errors by checking the error message. This can be done by going into the Activity Tab Use this to monitor the progress of your ApplyOnline (AOL) submissions and identify any errors or issues. For issues specific to ANZ loan applications that lack status update notifications, refer to the guidance on contacting your ANZ BDM with the lender reference number (LRN).

To expand the Application Activity items please click on See full details toggle and review any error messages or status details that may indicate why a submission issue occurred. This step is crucial for addressing missing notifications or errors in AOL.

Tips:

Look for Keyword in the error message. Ex: The value "Meander". This is an issue with the street type Meander. Check for any address that as a street type "Meander" and amend it accordingly and resubmit the application. Additionally, for ApplyOnline submissions, ensure the Lender Reference Number (LRN) is available as it confirms submission. If a notification is missing, verify if the assigned recipient profile or email configuration might be the cause.

If you are unable to find the error or if it is not clear, please contact Mercury Helpdesk via email [email protected] or clicking the Wait for the team button in an active chat and the team will be happy to assist. For applications lacking AOL status updates, contact your ANZ BDM directly for support using the Lender Reference Number (LRN) and client details.

System Error

System Errors can occur due to Lender Gateway Outage or if the lender is performing a System Maintenance. Additionally, if the application involves ANZ and lacks status updates, these could be due to backend system limitations. Users should contact ANZ BDMs for direct status inquiries.

If you are unable to find the error or if it is not clear, please contact Mercury Helpdesk via email [email protected] or clicking the Talk to a person button in an active chat and the team will be happy to assist.
