Why does my logo look faded in Word?

If your logo appears faded in Word’s Print Layout view:

This is intentional.

Word displays headers in a lighter shade to differentiate them from main document content while viewing on screen.

Important
The logo will print normally and will not appear faded in the final printed document or PDF.

Can I use multiple company logos?

Mercury Nexus supports only one primary Company Logo at a time.

If you need to use an alternative logo for a specific document:

  • Remove the logo merge tag from your template.

  • Insert the alternate logo manually as an image.

This allows template-level logo control without changing your primary Company Logo.

Best practice tips

  • Use high-resolution images for clearer print quality.

  • Keep logo dimensions proportionate to avoid stretching.

  • Ensure branding complies with your company guidelines.

  • Test a merged document after uploading a new logo.
