Use this guide to understand how persistent open tabs work in Mercury CRM and how they help you continue working without losing your place.
Persistent open tabs allow the tabs you have open in the CRM to remain open if the page refreshes or the system updates. This means you can return to your work without reopening records.
What are persistent open tabs?
Persistent open tabs ensure that open CRM tabs are remembered during a page refresh or system update.
If you are working across multiple opportunities, tasks, or records, Mercury automatically restores those tabs so you can continue where you left off.
How persistent open tabs work
Keeping tabs open
When you open a tab in Mercury CRM, such as an opportunity or task, Mercury saves it automatically.
If the page refreshes or the app updates, those tabs reload and remain open.
Closing tabs
When you finish working in a tab, close it as you normally would.
Closed tabs are not restored.
Logging out and back in
For security reasons, open tabs are not retained when you log out.
When you log back in, you start with a clean session.
Important: Persistent open tabs apply only within an active login session.
How this helps your workflow:
Stay productive
You can continue working without interruption, even if Mercury refreshes or updates.
Save time
You do not need to reopen records after a refresh, helping you get back to work faster.
Manage multiple tasks easily
If you are working across several clients or tasks, persistent open tabs help you stay organised and avoid losing track of active records.
