Use the CRM dashboard in Mercury Nexus

Use the CRM dashboard to manage tasks, track opportunities, view reports, and launch quick actions from one place.

Updated this week

Use this guide to understand how the CRM dashboard in Mercury Nexus helps you manage your day-to-day work more efficiently. The dashboard brings together your tasks, opportunities, reports, and quick actions so you can stay organised and act quickly.

Accessing the CRM dashboard

The CRM dashboard is the home screen when you open CRM in Mercury Nexus. From here, you can:

  • Review upcoming and overdue tasks

  • Access recent and workspace opportunities

  • View pinned reports

  • Launch common actions without navigating away

Managing tasks from the dashboard

The Tasks section shows outstanding tasks where you are the delegate from the last 15 days. A maximum of 25 tasks display, ordered by due date.

Tasks use a traffic light colour system:

  • Green: due today

  • Yellow to red: overdue, with colour deepening the longer the task is overdue

Note
Outstanding tasks older than 15 days do not appear on the dashboard.

From the dashboard, you can:

  • Select the radio button to mark a task as complete

  • Click the due date to update it

  • Open a linked opportunity using the quick-view slider to see basic details

Viewing opportunities

The Opportunities section is split into two tabs:

  • Recent opportunities: displayed by most recently accessed

  • My workspace opportunities: opportunities you have added to My Workspace

From the dashboard, you can:

  • Click the opportunity name to open the quick-view slider and view basic information

  • Double-click the opportunity name to open the full opportunity in a new tab

Using pinned reports

You can pin key reports to your dashboard for quick access, including:

  • Sales funnel reports

  • Business statistics

  • Settlement reports

To pin a report, select Pin to dashboard within the report. Once enabled, the report automatically appears on your dashboard.

Tip
For the best experience, create at least one saved view before pinning a report. If multiple saved views exist, use the drop-down in the top-right of the report tile to switch views.

Launching quick actions

Quick actions let you start common tasks directly from the dashboard. Select the action from the top menu and it will open in a new tab.

Available quick actions include:

  • Opportunity

  • Person

  • Task

  • Document request

  • Funding position

  • Borrowing capacity

  • Product comparison

  • Asset finance invoice

  • Asset deal notified
