Generating a settlement report in Mercury Nexus

Learn how to generate and customise a Settlement Report in Mercury Nexus to track performance and analyse business results.

Mercury Nexus includes a Settlement Report that allows you to generate and customise settlement data in seconds.

Create a settlement report

To generate a Settlement Report:

  • Open the CRM app.

  • Select Reports from the left-hand menu.

  • Click Business Statistics in the top menu.

Customise your report filters

You can tailor the report using the available filters.

Select opportunity type

Choose the relevant Opportunity Type from the drop-down list.

Choose date range

Select the reporting period using the Date Range filter.

Enter your upfront commission rate

Input your upfront commission rate to calculate estimated upfront commission (UFC).

Group your data

Use the Group By drop-down to determine how the data is displayed. You can group by:

  • Month

  • Loan Writer

  • Virtual Branch

  • Lead Source

  • Lender

The report will automatically update based on your selections.

What the report displays

The Settlement Report includes:

  • Expected settlement value

  • Confirmed settlement value

  • Estimated upfront commission (UFC)

  • Number of settlements by group

  • Average settlement value by group

View data as a chart

To visualise your results:

  • Select the Chart tab.

This provides a graphical view of your settlement performance.

Export or pin your report

You can:

  • Right-click the report data to export to Excel.

  • Select Pin to Dashboard to add the report to your Mercury dashboard.

Important data requirement

Important
The Opportunity must contain a valid Settlement Date to appear in the Settlement Report.

If the Settlement Date field is blank, the record will not be included in the report results.
