Navigate the Commissions App in Mercury Nexus

Learn how to use the Commissions App to access statements, loan accounts, settlement data and payee management tools.

Access the Commissions App

Open Mercury Nexus.

Select the Commissions App from your dashboard.

Your access level determines which sections you can view.

View commission statements

Statements

Displays residential commission statements, broken down by month.

Use this section to:

  • Review upfront and trail payments

  • Reconcile monthly commissions

  • Download historical statements

CAF statements

Displays Asset Finance commission statements, broken down by month.

Use this section to review commission payments related to Connective Asset Finance (CAF).

Review loan and payment data

Loan accounts

Shows loan account details provided by lenders for your clients.

Use this section to:

  • Review active loan accounts

  • Check balances used for trail calculations

  • Investigate commission queries

Trail variation

Highlights loan accounts where trail payments have increased or decreased beyond a defined threshold.

Use this report to:

  • Identify unexpected changes

  • Proactively investigate lender adjustments

Settlement volumes

Displays rolling settlement statistics for your group.

Use this section to track:

  • Total settlement dollar amounts

  • Performance trends over time

Payment calendar

Shows the commissions payment schedule.

Use this section to understand when payments are processed and paid.

Interim upfronts

Provides information about interim upfront payments for your group.

Notifications and invoices

Notifications

Nominate lenders to receive email notifications when commission statements are processed. See Set up commissions notifications.

Invoices

Access Connective payment invoices issued to your group.

Commissions splitting access

Additional access is required to manage commissions splitting.

A Principal Owner must request this access via a ticket to the Commissions team or Mercury Helpdesk.

Manage payees

Create and manage payee (referrer) accounts.

Splitting templates

Create and edit commission splitting templates.

Important
Only users with Commissions Splitting Access can view and manage payees or templates.
