The Business Statistics Report in Mercury Nexus provides a high-level overview of your pipeline and settled business, with flexible filtering options to drill into specific segments.

What information does the business statistics report include?

The Business Statistics Report gives you a consolidated view of your business performance.

You can filter and analyse data by:

  • Opportunity Type

  • User

  • Lead Source

  • Loan Category

  • Date Range

  • Target Status

  • Settlement

  • Fixed Expiry

This allows you to assess both pipeline and settled activity across your business.

Generate a business statistics report

To create the report:

  • Open the CRM app.

  • Select Reports from the left-hand menu.

  • Click Business Statistics in the top menu.

Customise your report filters

Use the available drop-down menus to refine your results.

Select opportunity type

Choose the relevant Opportunity Type.

Filter by user

Select a specific User to analyse individual performance.

Filter by lead source

Choose a Lead Source to assess marketing performance.

Filter by loan category

Select a Loan Category to compare product types.

Choose date range

Set the reporting period using the Date Range filter.

Search by

Use the drop-down to search by:

  • Target Status

  • Settlement

  • Fixed Expiry

Group your data

Use the Group By drop-down to structure the report output.

You can also change the Target Status by selecting from the status list.

The report updates automatically based on your selections.

View the data as a chart

To visualise the report:

  • Click the Pie Chart or Column Chart tab.

In the Pie Chart view, you can:

  • Display by Number of Loans or Volume

  • Choose whether to Display Values

Export or pin your report

You can:

  • Click Launch Report to export the data to Excel.

  • Tick Pin to Dashboard to add the report to your Mercury dashboard.

Check the report description

A description appears at the bottom of the screen outlining:

  • The filters applied

  • The data source

  • The calculation parameters

Review this to ensure you are analysing the intended dataset.

Best practice for accurate reporting

  • Ensure opportunity statuses are updated consistently.

  • Maintain accurate settlement and expiry dates.

  • Standardise lead source naming.

  • Regularly review user assignments and loan categories.

Accurate data entry ensures reliable reporting.
