Use the interest only expiry reports in Mercury Nexus

Learn how to identify upcoming interest only expiries and missing expiry dates using the Analytics App dashboards.

Reaching out before an interest only period expires helps you support your clients and strengthen your ongoing relationship.

Access the interest only dashboards

Open the Analytics App in Mercury Nexus.

Navigate to the relevant dashboards under Business Insights.

There are two dashboards available:

  • Upcoming Interest Only Loans for review

  • Interest Only Product – no expiry

Upcoming interest only loans for review

This dashboard provides a snapshot of clients whose interest only period will expire within the next 12 months.

What you can see

  • Total loan balance of all expiring interest only loans (displayed in the top right corner)

  • Number of opportunities with expiring interest only terms, broken down by month

  • Interest only expiries by lender

  • A detailed table of opportunity records, including current loan balance and expiry date

Filter and refine your results

You can:

  • Click on a graph to filter by month or lender

  • Use the filters at the top of the dashboard to refine by date range, loan writer, lender, status, or rate type

This allows you to prioritise outreach and allocate follow-up tasks within your team.

Tip
Use the monthly breakdown to plan structured client contact campaigns before expiries occur.

Interest only product – no expiry

This dashboard identifies opportunity records where an interest only product is recorded but no expiry date has been entered.

Use this report to:

  • Quickly locate incomplete records

  • Update expiry dates without manually reviewing each opportunity

Maintaining accurate expiry dates ensures your reporting and client follow-up remain reliable.

Best practice for managing interest only expiries

  • Review the Upcoming Interest Only dashboard monthly

  • Assign follow-up tasks for loans expiring within the next 3–6 months

  • Ensure expiry dates are recorded at settlement

  • Regularly check the “No expiry” dashboard to maintain data accuracy
