Contact data not updated in Digital Marketing Hub

Use this guide to re-sync contact data from Mercury to the Digital Marketing Hub when updates are not appearing correctly.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If contact data is not updating correctly between Mercury and the Digital Marketing Hub (DMH), you can manually re-trigger the sync. This ensures eligible contacts are pushed from Mercury into DMH so your marketing data remains current.

Before you start

Important
For best results, complete this process while logged in as the Principal Owner in Mercury.

Access your contacts in Mercury

Log in to Mercury.

From the dashboard, select CRM.

In the left-hand menu, select People.

Filter contacts to be re-synced

Apply the following filters to identify contacts eligible for syncing to DMH:

  • Email: contains β€œ@”

  • DMH: True

  • Email bounced: False

  • No email marketing: False

These filters ensure only valid, contactable records are sent to the Digital Marketing Hub.

Re-sync contacts to Digital Marketing Hub

Select the DMH button above the contacts table.

Choose Add all to DMH.

This action re-triggers the sync from Mercury to the Digital Marketing Hub.

Note
Depending on the number of contacts, updated data may take a few minutes to several hours to appear in DMH.

What happens next

Once the sync is complete, your contact records should update automatically in the Digital Marketing Hub. Depending on the number of contacts, the updated data should appear in the Digital Marketing Hub within a few minutes to a few hours. No further action is required unless contacts still fail to appear or update.
