Using the Relationship Manager field in Mercury Nexus and Digital Marketing Hub
Updated over a week ago

The Relationship Manager field in Mercury CRM allows you to determine who owns the relationship with that client. The Relationship Manager will be pushed across into the Digital Marketing Hub (DMH) with the contact data and used when sending emails. This allows brokerages with multiple loan writers to maintain a personal touch, as emails are sent from the Relationship Manager that is assigned to them.

It is important to use the relationship manager field because if left empty, emails and SMS's will be sent from the default relationship manager who the contact may not know or recognise. If a contact has never spoken to the default relationship manager, they may unsubscribe or mark the email as spam which will affect your reporting and you will no longer be being to market to them going forward.

To assign a relationship manager to a contact, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log into Mercury Nexus

  2. Select the CRM tab

  3. Search for the contact

  4. Open the contact record and select the Relationship Manager field. This will give you a choice of Relationship Managers in your company. Select the new relationship manager and then select Save & Exit.

When you send an email campaign from your Digital Marketing Hub account, you will be asked for Sender Details. Make sure you select BrokerPrefferedFullName and BrokerEmail, this will ensure the email is sent from the contacts relationship manager.
