Mercury Nexus has the ability to connect to your Gmail account account to enable you to synchronise contact details.

How can I sync contacts from my Mercury Nexus account to Google account?

In order to synchronize contacts from your Mercury Nexus account to your Google account, please follow the following steps.

  1. First login to your Gmail account via your browser. This ensures a valid active session with the correct account.

  2. Access the Admin app in Nexus.

  3. Click the Google Sync section via Integrations.

  4. Click the Enable Contact Sync button. You will be presented with a message confirming the sync has been activated.

Note: The sync must be setup by the user who has the Gmail account which the Contacts are to be synched to.

How can I add a specific contact to be synced from Mercury Nexus to Google?

  1. Open the contact's People record in the CRM app.

  2. Check the Sync to Google checkbox.

Despite having selected the "Sync to Google" checkbox, why is my contact not synchronizing with my Google account?

If you come across a contact record in Mercury Nexus CRM where the 'Sync to Google' option is selected but the record has not been synced to Google upon checking, please refer to the following information for one of the potential reasons.

  • Please note that the checkbox 'Sync to Google' must be checked by the user who has the Google sync in place.

  • The Change Log will show which Mercury account the Sync is using once the Checkbox is checked.

If you have found another Mercury Account CA number against the log as per screenshot below and wish to synchronize the contact with your Google account, it is necessary to uncheck and then re-check the corresponding box.

Note: Each individual People record can only be set to sync with one google account.
