Data Transfer Guidelines for Mercury Nexus

If you're looking to transfer data in Mercury Nexus, here are some important details to consider to ensure a smooth process.

1. What are my transfer options?

You have two options for transferring data:

  • Partial transfer: The source partner group will remain active, with one or more users moving to a new or existing partner group. Data within the source group is moved into a virtual branch, which is then transferred to the destination group.

  • Full CRM Data Transfer: All data is moved from the source group to the destination group.

2. What if I have a Digital Marketing Hub account?

If your current partner group has a Digital Marketing Hub account, we will remove any contacts (people records) being transferred from all DMH lists. This will prevent contacts from continuing to receive email marketing from the source company.

3. What can and can't be transferred?

With a data transfer, all data within the opportunity and people records is transferred, except for the following items:

  • Document templates

  • List editor lists

  • Admin data (not included in a Partial Transfer)

  • People categories and person tags

4. What does a Data Transfer cost?

A fee of $300 + GST applies for the transfer, which will be automatically billed or deducted from the destination company.

5. How long will a Data Transfer take?

Data Transfers typically take up to 5 business days to process after we receive the completed data transfer form.

6. Conditions of Data Transfer

  • The data will be moved, not copied, and will no longer be available to the original company.

  • All outstanding Compliance Corrective Actions must be resolved before the transfer can take place.

  • Data ownership transfers can only be reversed with mutual agreement, subject to an additional $300 + GST fee.

  • This transfer only involves CRM data and does not include commissions. If you need to transfer commission data, please read this article.

  • Apply Online data records which have not yet been submitted to a lender can be transferred to the broker's new account. Apply Online records cannot be transferred to a different broker.

7. Submission requirements

The Data Transfer form must be submitted to the Mercury Helpdesk at [email protected] by a principal owner of the source partner group. Forms sent by other users will not be accepted. All directors of the source partner group must sign the data transfer form.
