Office 365 Outlook Integration

Please note that the old Outlook Mercury Plugin has been deprecated and is no longer available to use from 14th September 2023.

Office 365 users now have the option to link their cloud based Office 365 Mailbox to Mercury Nexus for the purposes of uploading and importing email correspondence to their Opportunity records and also sending emails from Mercury Nexus.

How to link your Office 365 mailbox

1. Access the Nexus Admin App from the Dashboard

2. Click the Integrations section in the left hand menu

3. Click the Enable Office 365 button under the Office 365 heading

4. You may be asked to sign in to your Office 365 account. If not then you already have an active session running.

5. A browser tab will open and the following message will be displayed 'Your O365 account has been successfully integrated with Mercury.'

6. The email account which it has integrated with will be listed at the top of the screen.

If Sending email from CRM via your Office 365 email account is enabled, your 'email out' Notes will appear in your sent items, and will automatically save in the opportunity record you are sending the Note from.

How to allow other Mercury Nexus users to send emails from your email account.

Users added via the share access option can then send an email via your Office 365 linked email account on your behalf.

1. Click the Add button.

2. Select the user from the drop-down list and check the checkbox.

Note : The Nexus user which your email account has been shared to will need to setup an Email Profile with your email address listed to be able to use this option.

How to upload or import an email to the Opportunity

1. To upload an email to a record click the Import Email button

2. Your Outlook mailbox will be displayed. Select the email you would like to upload. You can select more than one email at a time.

3. If you would like to upload any attachments, check the checkbox.

4. Select whether you would like the Attachment in the Attachments section or on the Note itself.

5. Click the Import Selected Emails button.
