Lender Rates and Clawback Information

Use this guide to find lender-specific commission rates, clawback conditions and related documents. You’ll use the Research app in Mercury Nexus to check lender payments and access supporting resources.

Where lender commission information is stored

The Research app in Mercury Nexus holds all lender documents, news items, product details and commission information.

You can use it to check:

  • upfront and trail commission rates

  • clawback rules

  • offset and balance adjustments

  • channel-specific variations (e.g., direct vs broker rules)

  • lender product updates

  • forms, guides and policy documents

Viewing the Commission Schedule

You can see all lender commission rates in one place using the Commission Schedule.

To view the schedule:

  1. Log in to Mercury Nexus.

  2. Open the Research app.

  3. Select Commission Schedule from the left-hand navigation.

The schedule displays:

  • upfront and trail rates

  • payment frequencies

  • minimum balances

  • clawback periods

  • any lender-specific rules that impact commission

Tip:
Use the search bar in the schedule to quickly locate a lender.

Where to find clawback information

Clawback rules can be found in two places:

1. Commission Schedule (Research app)

Shows lender-specific clawback periods and percentages.

Examples may include:

  • 100% clawback if discharged within 12 months

  • stepped clawback periods (e.g., 100%/50%/25%)

  • trail protection rules

  • balance or offset calculations that impact clawback

2. Commission Guide (Wiki)

The Commission Guide contains detailed explanations of:

  • how clawback works

  • how the calculation is applied

  • scenarios that trigger clawback

  • offsets and adjustments

  • broker obligations

Important:

Clawback policies vary by lender. Always confirm the details for the lender you are working with.
