Use this guide to understand the full timeline, milestones and expectations for your My Website design and build process — from submitting your application to receiving your live website.
After you submit your My Website application
Once we receive your completed application form, we will:
Review your submission.
Email you a confirmation of receipt.
Request any missing information or assets if needed.
We will confirm the billing date for your $1,000 + GST setup fee.
This will be charged on the 1st day of the month following the date we receive your application, as part of your Connective monthly invoice.
When to expect your first website draft
After your application is reviewed and all required details are received:
Our design team will confirm the expected date for your first website draft.
When the draft is ready, we will send you a link to your temporary site, such as:
https://marketinghub9.wixstudio.com/your-business-name/
Review and revision period
After you receive your draft website:
You have 4 weeks to review the site, provide feedback, or supply any outstanding assets.
Your changes can be applied across two rounds of revisions.
Any changes requested after the two revision rounds will be scoped at $50 + GST per 30 minutes of design or development work.
Preparing your website for launch
Once you approve your final design:
We will provide you with the DNS records to upload to your domain provider.
After you update your DNS settings, we will:
Publish your website live
Activate your loan calculators
Thoroughly test your contact forms
Provide you with Editor access to update your content.
After your website goes live
Once your site is published:
You will receive Editor access to update text and images as needed.
For small text or image updates (e.g., staff details, contact information), email [email protected] and we can apply these at no cost.
Structural changes
If you require structural or architectural changes to your site (for example, adding a new page), this work will be scoped and quoted at $50 + GST per 30 minutes of design time.
Full template changes
If you request a full template change after launch, a new setup fee of $1,000 + GST will apply.
