Apply Online is an lender application lodgement platform maintained by a third-party called NextGen and sits between Mercury and the Lender.
How to access Apply Online
You can either access Apply Online directly via the Mercury Dashboard or an Opportunity record.
To access via the Mercury Dashboard, click the Apply Online tile.
To access Apply Online via an Opportunity you will need a valid Apply Online lender and active Advisor selected. Then click the Submit to Apply Online button.
You can double click entries in the Lodgements section of an Opportunity record to open that AOL application.
Note: It is not possible to log into Apply Online directly through their website. Your Apply Online account can only be accessed from Mercury
Each Lender liaises with Apply Online to determine application validation specifications, restrictions, and which of their products are available.
Any limitations in Apply Online are all put in place by the Lender, are completely separate from Mercury, and out of Connective's control.
Some examples:
some lenders will not accept overseas addresses in their applications
some lenders re-calculate the LVR on submission and will reject the application if it's too high
some lenders will only allow products from the same "category" to be added to an application
