How to cancel E-sign in AOL
Updated over a week ago

For Lenders that have the E-sign feature on their application forms if broker needs to re-send documents to the clients for signature they can cancel the E-sign request via Supporting docs and click on the 'Cancel E-sign Request'

Note:

  • Upon eSign request, the application will now become locked.

  • The application will become unlocked if a 'declined' or 'error' response is returned.

  • The application can also be unlocked by cancelling the eSign request (provided it still did not reach a 'eSign Completed' status)

Important note:

  • Once all parties have eSigned (eSign Completed - All Print Forms have been electronically signed), the Application cannot be unlocked. Broker should only be able to upload additional supporting docs and Submit application to Lender.

In cases where the broker would like to cancel a completed eSign request, the broker has 2 options:
Option #1: Contact the lender for an approval to cancel the completed eSign - we would then manually cancel it from our end.
Option #2: Clone the app and create another eSign request
