How to cancel E-sign in AOL

For Lenders that have the E-sign feature on their application forms if broker needs to re-send documents to the clients for signature or make additional changes to the application they will need to cancel the E-sign request via Supporting docs by clicking on the 'Cancel E-sign Request'

Note:

  • Upon sending the eSign request, the application tabs will be locked and no further changes can be made.

  • The application will become unlocked if a 'declined' or 'error' response is returned.

  • The application can also be unlocked by cancelling the eSign request (provided it still did not reach a 'eSign Completed' status)

Important note:

  • Once all parties have eSigned (eSign Completed - All Print Forms have been electronically signed), the Application cannot be unlocked. Broker should only be able to upload additional supporting docs and Submit application to Lender.

    In cases where the broker would like to cancel a completed eSign request, the broker has 2 options:
    ​Option #1: Contact the lender for an approval to cancel the completed eSign - Mercury Helpdesk can then request NextGen would then manually unlock the application.
    ​Option #2: Clone the app and create another eSign request
