Unable to Lodge Apply Online Application

Important Note: We have updated various fields and labels to ensure you have a consistent experience in Mercury Nexus. Instead of individually referring to roles as Agent, Advisor, Loan Writer, and Associate, we will now universally use the term "Broker." This change will simplify your interactions across Mercury Nexus.

If you have clicked on the ApplyOnline button in an opportunity but you are not directed to a new AOL application.

Please check for the following information has been entered:

Asset Type:

  1. Navigate to your opportunity record

  2. Click on Financials from the left hand menu

  3. Select the Assets - Other tab from the top menu

  4. Ensure 'Type' is selected

    • Note: All assets will need a value entered that is greater than $0.

    • Note: Motor vehicle will need values entered for Type, Year, and Make

Contacts:

  1. Navigate to your contacts

  2. Double click the contact card

  3. Click on Addresses from the left hand menu

  4. Ensure Address type has been completed

Employment type and frequency

  1. Open the contact record

  2. Select Employment from the left hand menu

  3. Ensure Employment Type and Income Type Frequency have been completed.

Income and Expenses

All income and expenses fields listed need to have an entered amount that is greater than $0.00 otherwise you will not be able to submit.

If the above information is entered correctly and still getting the error, please contact the Mercury Helpdesk via [email protected] or select 'Get more help' via chat.

Unable to launch application error

If the Submit to ApplyOnline button is greyed out, you still have fields to complete before you can submit your clients' application.

In the details section, ensure you have an Advisor, Admin and Lender listed:

If you receive the following error message when trying to submit an Opportunity to Apply Online, it means that the Loan Writer's Postal Address details needs to be entered into Mercury.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Log into Mercury account and navigate to the Admin App.

  2. Select My Details from the left hand menu

  3. Enter the Office Address and Postal Address.

If you are accessing Apply Online for the first time you may see a generic error. Please contact the Mercury Helpdesk via [email protected] or select 'Wait for the team' via chat for a resolution.
