Learn how to fix the Auswide submission error [Ref: 10005] when lodging a principal increase in Apply Online.

Updated over a week ago

When this error occurs

You may see the following error message when submitting a principal increase to Auswide:

Error
“This error suggests it cannot find the entered existing mortgage account details to be increased. Please review the account details prior to resubmission. [Ref: 10005]”

This error means the existing loan account details entered in the application do not match Auswide’s records.

Why this happens

When lodging a principal increase with Auswide, the system requires the Customer Reference Number, not the client’s loan account number.

If the loan account number is entered instead, the submission will fail with Ref: 10005.

How to resolve the error

Contact Auswide Broker Support to obtain the correct Customer Reference Number.

Open the application in Apply Online.

Go to the Security tab.

Enter the Customer Reference Number in the relevant field.

Save the changes and resubmit the application.

Important
Do not use the client’s loan account number for principal increase submissions to Auswide. Always use the Customer Reference Number provided by Auswide.
