Before you begin
You must:
Have access to the Admin App in Mercury Nexus
Be logged into the correct Google (Gmail) account in your browser
Important
Google contact sync must be set up by the same user who owns the Gmail account. Contacts can only sync to one Google account at a time.
Enable Google contact sync
Log in to your Gmail account in your web browser. This ensures you have an active session with the correct account.
Open the Admin App in Mercury Nexus.
Go to Integrations.
Select Google Sync.
Click Enable Contact Sync.
You will see a confirmation message once the sync is activated.
Sync a specific contact to Google
Open the contact’s People record in the CRM app.
Tick the Sync to Google checkbox.
The contact will sync to your connected Google account.
Why a contact may not sync
If the Sync to Google checkbox is selected but the contact has not synced, check the following.
The checkbox was selected by another user
The Sync to Google checkbox must be selected by the user who has Google Sync enabled.
Check the Change log in the contact record to see which Mercury account activated the sync.
If another CA number appears in the log and you want the contact to sync to your Google account:
Untick the Sync to Google checkbox
Tick it again under your own login
Reconnect Google Sync
If the above steps do not resolve the issue:
Disable Google Sync in the Admin App.
Reconnect the integration by repeating the setup steps.
Run the manual sync again.
Note
Each individual People record can only sync with one Google account at a time.
