How to get started
Step 1: Create a Zapier account
If you do not already have an account:
Visit Zapier’s website.
Create an account.
Step 2: Prepare your Mercury access details
To connect Mercury to Zapier, you will need:
Your Mercury login credentials
Your Mercury API key
Important
You must have Partner Level access to generate your API key.
Retrieve your Mercury API key
Follow these steps in Mercury Nexus:
Log in to Mercury Nexus.
Click the Admin tab.
Select Integrations from the left-hand menu.
Copy your API key.
Store your API key securely. You will enter it when connecting Mercury inside Zapier.
Connect Mercury to Zapier
Once you have your API key:
Log in to Zapier.
Search for the Mercury app.
Select Connect a new account.
Enter your Mercury credentials and API key when prompted.
You can now begin building automated workflows.

Before creating live Zaps:
Test workflows using sample data.
Confirm data mapping between fields.
Avoid creating duplicate contacts.
