There are many mundane tasks that you can automate with Zapier that'll free up your time to focus on what you'd prefer to be doing.
Detailed in this article are some examples of what you can do with a few popular applications in Zapier.
Outlook
The following zap can be set up to trigger when the Loan Status changes in Mercury.
Send an email to a customer when a loan has reached 'pending settlement' status
This zap consists of three main stages:
Connect your Mercury account and choose the event that will trigger the Automation. In this case, it will be 'Opportunity Status Updated'

Trello
You can use Zapier to track a loan as it moves through each loan status. To do this you will need to set up a couple of zaps.
One to add a new card to your board when an Opportunity is created, and additional zaps that will move the card each time the loan status changes.

This zap consists of three main stages:
