By default, all of Connective's panel lenders are displayed in Mercury Nexus, however you can easily customise this to suit your business.
Lenders must first be accredited before they can be displayed and filtered in the system.
Understanding Lender Accreditation
Lender accreditation is a prerequisite for their visibility in Mercury Nexus. Without accreditation, lenders will not appear in filters or selection lists, even if they are enabled in the system.
How do I control which lenders appear in Mercury Nexus?
To control which lenders are visible for the partner group in Mercury Nexus:
Open the Admin app and select CRM Settings from the main left-hand menu.
Navigate to Filter Lenders in the top menu.
Use the drop down to toggle between Residential, Commercial and Plant and Equipment (Asset Finance) lenders.
Use the checkboxes to select the lenders you want to appear. By unchecking a lender, it will no longer appear for any members of your partner group. If a lender is missing in Product Comparison search results always check they are active in the Filter Lenders list first.
Additionally, ensure that you are accredited with the lender, as accreditation is required for the lender to appear in the system.
Note: You will need to log out of Mercury Nexus for the change to take effect. Additionally, refreshing the CRM/Research app after making changes can help ensure updates are applied promptly.
How do I add a lender to Mercury Nexus?
If you write loans with different lenders, we can add this lender to the list for you. Please submit a Helpdesk ticket with which lender you would like added to your Lender drop down list. After the lender is added, ensure the following steps are completed:
Open the CRM/Research app again to refresh the list.
Search by the lender name (e.g., "IMB Bank") in the product comparison tool to confirm visibility.
Please note that accreditation with the lender is required before they can be added to the system.
Note: We can only accept this request directly from the Principal Owner of the company.
Once the HelpDesk team have added the lender, they will appear in your Lender drop-down box. You will also be given access to the Custom Lender Portal, which is accessed via the Membership Centre. This is where you will manage your custom lender products.
Troubleshooting Product Visibility Issues in Mercury/CRM
Product visibility issues in Mercury/CRM often arise due to filter settings, lender configurations, or product categorization. Below are common issues and their solutions:
IMB Products Not Visible in Residential Panels
IMB products are only available for commercial lending in the Connective panel. Residential IMB products are not included in the standard panel. To use IMB for residential scenarios:
Submit an off-panel request following your standard off-panel process.
Off-Panel Lenders Not Appearing in Product Comparison/Search
After adding an off-panel lender to the CRM:
Ensure the lender is added to your Mercury lender list.
Open the CRM/Research app again to refresh the list.
If products for the lender have been added in Membership Centre, search by the lender name (e.g., "IMB Bank") in the product comparison tool.
Products Only Visible Under Specific Filter Combinations
If products appear only when both P&I and IO or both OO and INV filters are selected:
Check how "Interest Only" is configured for the product.
If set under "Product Type," it may restrict visibility.
Move or add "Interest Only" under "Features" instead.
Republish the product after making these changes to ensure it appears under all relevant filters.
Non-Conforming Products Not Found in Product Search
Non-Conforming products, such as the Connective Solutions Specialist alt doc (Pepper) loan, require specific filters:
Enable the "Non-Conforming" filter in Product Search.
Reset other filters or confirm the correct category (e.g., Residential vs Commercial) to avoid over-restriction.
Connective Reverse Products Missing from Product Comparison
To display Connective Reverse products:
Verify lender visibility:
Navigate to Admin > Filter Lenders.
Ensure "Connective Reverse" is listed and ticked.
Apply the correct filters:
On the Product Comparison page, select the Connective Reverse lender and relevant product/loan type filters.
