Description
Request, receive, and manage client documents through Doc Centre so files are uploaded securely and attached directly to an opportunity.
Use Doc Centre to reduce manual follow-up with clients and keep all supporting documents in one place within the CRM.
What is Doc Centre?
Doc Centre is a CRM feature that allows you to request documents from clients, review uploaded files, and attach approved documents directly to an opportunity record.
Clients upload documents using a secure link, and you control whether each document is approved or rejected before use.
Before you start
You must have an opportunity created in the CRM. Doc Centre requests can only be linked to existing opportunities.
Create a Doc Centre request
To create a new request:
Open the CRM and select Doc Centre from the left-hand menu
Select the + icon to start a new request
In Select opportunity, highlight the relevant opportunity and select Select
In the Details tab:
Enter a clear request name that your client will recognise
Set an expiry date so clients know when documents are due
Tip: Use simple, descriptive names such as “Home loan supporting documents” to avoid client confusion.
Request documents
Go to Requested documents to define what your client needs to upload.
You can:
Select + Document to add individual document requests
Select Apply template to use a pre-built document list. Learn more about templates here.
For each document card:
Enter a title
Add a short description explaining what the client should upload
Select which client(s) must upload the document
Edit or delete a document request
To remove a document request:
Hover over the document card header
Select the trash icon when it appears
Note: Deleting a document card removes it from the client request immediately.
What happens next
After you save the request, the client can upload their documents. You can then:
Review uploaded documents in Doc Centre
Approve or reject each document
Attach approved documents to the opportunity record
