Use this guide to review, organise and export your commission data so you can reconcile payments and analyse trends.
Use this guide to review, organise and export your commission data in the Commissions App. You’ll learn how to group and filter large datasets, investigate commission payments, and export reports for reconciliation and analysis.
Grouping your commission data
Grouping lets you organise large datasets into meaningful views, such as by lender, writer, commission type or payment date.
Open the Commissions App from your broker platform dashboard.
Select Show column filters to display filtering and grouping controls.
Drag a column header into the grouping bar at the top of the table.
Expand or collapse grouped rows to view subtotals and totals.
You can also group data while viewing an individual commission statement.
Tip Grouping by lender or commission type can help identify discrepancies when reconciling individual payments.
Filtering your commission records
Using quick search
Quick search scans all fields and returns matching commission line items.
Enter a keyword such as a loan number, lender name or writer into the Quick search field.
Applying column filters
Each column includes advanced filtering options to refine your results.
Tip Combine quick search with column filters to reconcile commission data faster.
Exporting commission data
Exporting full commission statements
You can export full commission statements in the following formats:
HTML report
Full statement
Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) summary
External (CSV)
Exporting tables to Excel
Right-click any table in the Commissions App and select Export to Excel.
Note: Exports include any filters or groupings applied to the table.
Reviewing commission split changes
Loan accounts include a Change log that records updates made to commission splits.
Use the change log to track historical changes and confirm when and why updates were made.
