Running EOFY commissions reports in Mercury Nexus

Learn how to generate end-of-financial-year (EOFY) commission reports using the Analytics or Commissions apps.

Use this guide to generate the commission reports required for your end-of-financial-year (EOFY) accounting.

Reporting options vary depending on your access level in Mercury Nexus.

What EOFY reports can you generate?

You can generate reports covering:

  • Residential and Commercial mortgage commissions

  • Asset Finance brokerage (including QuickAF)

  • Insurance policy commissions

If you require VBI/Aggregator commission share reports, you must:

  • Raise a commissions enquiry in Mercury Nexus; or

  • Email your commissions support team.

Report availability and menu locations may differ depending on your access permissions.

Run EOFY reports using the Analytics app

Directors, owners and authorised users can generate consolidated EOFY reports in the Analytics app.

To run a consolidated report:

  • Log in to Mercury Nexus.

  • Open the Analytics app from your dashboard.

  • Select Commissions reports.

  • Enter your EOFY date range.

The report will display totals for:

  • All commissions

  • Upfront commissions

  • Trail commissions

To export:

  • Click the three dots on the right-hand side.

  • Select the export option.

This method provides the most efficient way to generate a consolidated EOFY summary.

Run EOFY reports using the Commissions app

If you have access to the Commissions app, you can download monthly commission statements and manually consolidate them.

To bulk download statements:

  • Log in to Mercury Nexus.

  • Open the Commissions app.

  • Select the relevant monthly statements.

  • Click Download CSV Export.

The selected statements will download as a ZIP file.

Note
The Commissions app does not currently generate a single consolidated EOFY report. You must combine the individual CSV files manually.

If you do not have access

If you cannot access either the Analytics or Commissions app:

  • Contact your business owner; or

  • Ask an authorised user with access

to generate the required reports on your behalf.

Timing of EOFY commission payments

Commission payments cannot be adjusted or delayed to align with EOFY.

Important
Connective must process commission payments according to its standard payment calendar.

Payment timing depends on:

  • When lenders remit funds to Connective

  • When complete allocation information is received

If you need to align commission income with your EOFY reporting, consult your accountant regarding internal accounting treatment.
