The Birthday SMS feature is included in the Lite Touch and Premium Digital Marketing Hub plans. They are currently sent from your Mercury Nexus account.
You can decide who receives a birthday SMS by ensuring clients have the below information on their contact record in Mercury.
Date of birth
Birthday SMS category, which is called “MM - sms” is assigned.
Clients who meet the above criteria will receive a “Happy Birthday” text message on their birthday.
How to check which contacts have received your Birthday SMS:
Go to the CRM app in Mercury Nexus.
On the left menu, navigate to "Reports".
At the top tabs, go to "Database Activity" and click "SMS Batches".
It will show the Birthday SMS in the past 7 days as a default but you can change this filter on the left pane.
Birthday SMS are sent as a batch, daily. Select the batch for your selected date, it will show the individual SMS sent for each contact in the bottom table.
