The Birthday SMS feature is included in the Lite Touch and Premium Digital Marketing Hub plans. They are currently sent from your Mercury Nexus account.
You can decide who receives a birthday SMS by ensuring clients have the below information on their contact record in Mercury.
Date of birth
Birthday SMS category, which is called “MM - sms” is assigned.
Clients who meet the above criteria will receive a “Happy Birthday” text message on their birthday.
If you’d like to stop the Birthday SMS from sending to a contact, just simply unassign this contact from the "MM - sms" category.
