Similar to email marketing, SMS marketing is an extremely cost-effective way to build meaningful relationships, engage with your clients and gain instant impact.

The SMS Batches report provides information for Marketing Birthday SMS:

  • From: The phone number the text message was sent from. If you have not enabled your number this will be appear as Connective. To learn more about setting up your own number see here.

  • Content: The message that was sent.

  • Initiated: Details the date and time the text started to send. You can view the table below to see the details of each specific sent.

  • Created: Indicates how many texts were created as part of this batch.

  • Sent: Indicates how many texts were sent as part of this batch.

You can also drill further down into the specifics of each bulk SMS send by highlighting it to populate the following information in the table below:

  • Date Sent: Details the date and time the SMS was sent.

  • User: Details the user who sent the text message.

  • From: The phone number the text message was sent from. If you have not enabled your number this will be appear as Connective. To learn more about setting up your own number see here.

  • To: Who the text was sent to.

  • To No: phone number the text was sent to

  • Message: The message that was sent.

  • Length: The number of characters of the text message.

  • Success: Details whether or not the text was successfully sent. False indicates the send was unsuccessful, commonly caused by an incorrect phone number.

How do I report on SMS marketing?

You can generate a report as follows:

  1. In the CRM app, select Reports from the main left-hand menu.

  2. Navigate to Database Activity in the top menu.

  3. Select SMS Batches.

  4. From here you can choose to customise the report using the following filters:

    • Select the User from the drop down.

    • Choose a Date range to report on.

  5. The report will automatically generate based on the filters you select.

  6. Right click the on either table to Export the data into Excel.
