Mercury Nexus allows you to send and store emails directly from your Opportunity record.
This keeps all client correspondence in one central location and ensures a complete communication history.

Send an email from an Opportunity
To send an email:
Open the CRM app.
Select Opportunities from the left-hand menu.
Open the relevant Opportunity record.
Click Email from the top menu bar.
Select your recipient (Applicant email addresses will auto-populate).
Enter your subject and message.
Click Send.
A copy of the email will automatically be saved in the Notes section of the Opportunity.
You can also click Choose Email Template to use a preloaded template.
Send an email from the Notes tab
You can also send an email directly from the Notes section.
Open the relevant Opportunity.
Select Notes from the left-hand menu.
Click + Add.
Tick Send as Email.
Select the recipient.
Enter your subject and message.
Click Send.
The email will be saved as a note in the Opportunity.
Note
The email note field has a maximum size of 66,000 HTML characters.
To check the size, expand the menu and use Code View.
Add attachments to your email
After composing your email:
Select Attachments.
Choose one of the following options:
Upload File β Upload from your computer.
Attach from Library β Select from your Mercury document library.
Attach from Attachments β Select a document already attached to the People or Opportunity record.
Click Send.
Attachment limits
Maximum of 5 attachments per email.
Maximum combined attachment size: 7MB.
Important
Certain characters are not allowed in file names. The following characters will prevent upload or sending:
β\/.*'%*#@
If special characters are included in the file name, the attachment may not send.
How emails are sent
If your Office 365 (O365) mailbox is not integrated, emails are sent via the Connective mail server using your selected Email Profile.
The sender may appear similar to:
Your Name [email protected]; on behalf of; [email protected]
If a recipient replies, the reply will be delivered to your email address.
Send directly from your O365 mailbox
If you want emails to be sent directly from your O365 mailbox, you can integrate your account.
