Keeping track of emails sent by your business can quickly overwhelm your inbox.
The Emails report in Mercury Nexus allows you to view all emails sent by your team without needing to be cc’d or bcc’d.
What the Emails report shows
The Email Batches report includes the following information:
Created By
Displays the user who created and sent the email.
From
Shows the email address the message was sent from.
To
Lists the recipient’s email address.
Subject
Displays the email subject line.
Date Created
Shows when the email was created.
Date Sent
Indicates when the email was successfully sent from Mercury.
If no date appears, the email was not sent and there may be an issue with the recipient’s email address.
Opened
Indicates the email was opened, but only if the recipient has image preview enabled.
If no value appears, the email may still have been opened.
Unsubscribed
Indicates the recipient clicked the unsubscribe link.
The unsubscribe link is automatically included on all batch emails.
Bounced
Indicates the email could not be delivered. This usually means there is an issue with the recipient’s email address.
Generate an Emails report
To run the report:
Open the CRM app.
Select Reports from the left-hand menu.
Click Database Activity in the top menu.
Select Emails.
Customise your report filters
You can refine the report using:
User – Select a specific team member.
Date Range – Choose the reporting period.
The report will automatically update based on your selections.
View and export results
Highlight an entry to preview the email content.
Right-click on the table to Export to Excel.
Exporting allows you to:
Review communication history
Conduct compliance audits
Monitor team activity
Analyse engagement trends
Best practice tips
Monitor bounced emails and update incorrect addresses promptly.
Review unsubscribe activity to maintain compliant marketing practices.
Use the report during compliance file reviews.
Ensure all batch communications meet Spam Act requirements.
