Zapier University 102
Updated over a week ago

Welcome back to Zapier University! Through our 102 videos, you'll learn mostly about the Formatter and a few other built-in Zapier apps. If you aren't familiar with Zapier or our lingo, we recommend you check out Zapier 101 first.

Formatter: Recap and Quick Tips

Formatter: Spreadsheet Style Formulas

This lesson will get you ready, able, and confident in creating spreadsheet-style formulas directly in your Zaps, so you don't have to rely on a spreadsheet or even worse—math by hand.

Email Parser

It is not uncommon for services to send emails when an order is made, a shipment delivered, and a whole host of other reasons. Parser by Zapier will let you receive and decompose the entire email into small pieces that can be used in Actions in a Zap.

While unable to deal with non-form emails or very complex structures, the standard transactional email that you receive for many business interactions is the perfect type of email to use in conjunction with Parser.

This video details how to make a Parser account and then how to access that data in the trigger of a Zap.
