IP Whitelisting for Mercury Nexus Integration

To connect your EFFI system to Mercury Nexus, you'll need to request IP whitelisting to enable secure data exchange. This guide walks you through the request process, fees, and what to expect at each stage.

What is IP whitelisting?

IP whitelisting is a security measure that allows only approved IP addresses to connect to Mercury Nexus. When you integrate your EFFI system with Mercury Nexus, you'll need to provide your IP address(es) so our Helpdesk team can authorize the connection.

When do you need to request IP whitelisting?

You'll need to request IP whitelisting when:

  • You're setting up a new Mercury Nexus integration with EFFI

  • You're expanding your integration to additional IP addresses or servers

  • Your IP address changes and you need to update your existing whitelist

Note: If you already have an EFFI integration set up, your IP may already be whitelisted. Check with your Partnership Manager before submitting a new request.

Submitting your IP whitelisting request

To request IP whitelisting, provide your Partnership Manager or the Helpdesk with:

  • Your IP address(es) that will connect to Mercury Nexus

  • Any relevant system or server details

Email your request to [email protected]

Understanding the fee

All new IP whitelisting requests incur a one-time fee of $300.

This fee is required for the service and the accounts team will invoice you directly

What happens after you submit

Once your request is received:

  1. The Helpdesk passes your request to the accounts team to generate an invoice

  2. The Helpdesk team processes your whitelisting request

  3. Your IP address(es) are added to the Mercury Nexus whitelist

  4. You'll receive confirmation when your integration is active

Important: You'll be invoiced $300 for this service. Please ensure you settle the invoice as requested.

Timeline

IP whitelisting requests typically take 2–3 business days from payment confirmation. The exact timeline may vary depending on workload.

Additional information

If your circumstances change—such as a new IP address or additional servers—submit a new whitelisting request following the same process.
