Commission Statements

Updated over a week ago

Use this guide to understand how to access your commission statements, manage user permissions, and support payees or Virtual Branch users who need statement visibility.

Set up permissions to view commission statements

Commission statement visibility depends on your organisation’s user permissions. You can allow access at a company level or restrict it by payee.

Commissions Access permissions allow a user to view and download Commission Statements and Connective Asset Finance (CAF) Recipient Created Tax Invoices (RCTIs).

To update a user’s access:

  • Open the Mercury Admin App

  • Update their permissions under Manage users

  • Ensure Commissions Access is enabled

Note: Users without the correct permission will not see Statements or CAF Statements in the Commissions App.

View your commission statements

In the Commissions App:

  1. Open Statements or CAF Statements from the left panel.

  2. Select multiple statement periods.

  3. Click Download RCTI Summaries or CSV Exports.

Allow payees to view their own commission statements

You can create Payee logins so payees (such as referrers) can view their own commission statements. This is commonly used when referrers receive a split of upfront or trail commissions.

To enable payee access:

  • Create a Payee login in the Mercury Admin App

  • Assign the correct commission visibility permissions
    Create & Manage Payees

Payees will only see statements relating to their own payee record.

Virtual Branch access to commission statements

If you operate within a Virtual Branch, you can view commission statements for activity associated with that branch.

Virtual Branch members will only see statements for loans and payees linked to the branch.
