How to update your logo in your Digital Marketing Hub emails

Learn how to replace the default logo used across your Digital Marketing Hub (DMH) email templates

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Use this guide to update the logo that appears in your Digital Marketing Hub (DMH) email campaigns and automations. Your logo is stored in a message variable in DMH, so updating it in one place updates it across all templates that reference it.

Before you start

Your logo should meet the following requirements for best results:

  • Width of maximum 600px

  • File size less than 1MB

  • PNG format preferred (JPG is acceptable)

  • Clear, high-resolution image

A PNG file will retain sharper edges and transparency in email templates.

Update your logo in Digital Marketing Hub

  1. Log in to your Digital Marketing Hub account.

  2. From the left menu, select Email.

  3. Select Message Variables.

  4. Find the %logo% message variable and select the Edit button on the right.

Replace the logo file

  1. Highlight the existing logo image in the editor.

  2. Select the Open Content Manager icon from the formatting menu.

  3. The Content Manager modal will appear.

  4. Select Add file in the top-right corner and upload your new logo.

  5. Once the file has been uploaded, hover over the image and select "Select image". This will replace the old logo in the Message Variable.

Resize your logo

  1. After inserting your new logo, select the Code editor tab in the editor.

  2. You will see a single <img> tag representing your logo, for example:

    <img src="your-logo-file.png" alt="logofilename.png" width="600" height="-1">

  3. Change the width value (e.g., 600) to your preferred size, up to a maximum of 600px.

  4. The height will automatically adjust to maintain proportions.

  5. Switch back to the Visual Editor to confirm the logo displays correctly.

Save your updated logo

  1. After returning to the Message Variable screen, click Save to save your new logo across DMH.

Your updated logo will now appear in any email template that references the %logo% variable.
