Apply Online Notifications, otherwise know as backchannel messages (BCMs) are received throughout the lender application process. These notification updates are also visible in the Activity tab in Apply Online.

Who receives notifications from Apply Online

The Advisor who is selected when clicking on Start Apply Online Application or who creates the application within Apply Online will receive notifications from the lender as the application progresses.

These notifications come through as Emails or SMS messages. You can add email addresses, or change mobile details within Apply Online, which will alter where these notifications are sent.

How to change your Notification Preferences

  1. Click the Profile Icon top right in Apply Online and then click User Settings.

You can see your current email address and mobile number, which is where Lender notifications will be sent.

2. You can change your phone details, or add extra email addresses for notifications to be sent to.

Note: You can not change your email address, it is the same email address that is listed in your Mercury account.

If your Mercury email address has changed, submit a Helpdesk ticket via [email protected] or via chat and selecting Wait for the team and we can push through your new email address to Apply Online.

How to Edit Events Notification Settings

Access the Events Notification Settings via the Events button.

Place a tick next to the notifications you would like to receive, in either the Email or SMS column. You can also view by Lender.

Once you have made your selections. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
