Use this guide to update your banking details for membership fees and commission payments in Mercury Nexus. You can also manage pending changes or update details if your group is resigned.
Access the membership centre
Log in to Mercury Nexus.
Navigate to the Membership Centre.
Select Manage bank account details.
Update banking details for membership fees
Principal owners can manage membership fee payments within the Membership Centre.
Use direct debit
Select Update details under Membership fees.
Choose Direct Debit from the Payment Method dropdown.
Enter:
BSB
Account name
Account number
If required, tick Apply to Commission Payments to use the same account.
Select the Effective date.
Click Save changes.
Read the disclaimer and select Confirm & agree to authorise the update.
Note: The effective date has a three-day lead time.
Note: All principal owners will receive an email advising them of the pending change.
The Change pending date will appear under the Membership fees section.
Use a credit card
Select Update details under Membership fees.
Choose Credit Card from the Payment Method dropdown.
A direct debit request form will be emailed to you automatically.
Return the completed form to process the change.
Click Save changes.
Read the disclaimer and select Confirm & agree.
Note (Blue): All principal owners will receive an email advising them of the pending change.

Update banking details for commission payments
Select Update details under Commission fees.
Enter or update:
BSB
Account name
Account number
Tick Use these account details for Asset Finance Commission if applicable.
Select the Effective date.
Click Save changes.
Read the disclaimer and select Confirm & agree.
Complete two-factor authentication by entering the 6-digit SMS code.
Note: The effective date has a three-day lead time.
Note: All principal owners will receive an email advising them of the pending change.
The Change pending date appears in red under the Membership Centre.
Update banking details if the account is resigned
If the broker or partner group is resigned and managed under Commissions Management:
A director of the group must email [email protected] with the new bank details.
All directors must be included in the email.
Important: Changes cannot be made in Mercury Nexus once the group is resigned.
Cancel a pending change
Go to the Membership Centre.
Select Manage bank account details.
Locate the pending change.
Click Cancel update.
Update a pending change
Go to the Membership Centre.
Select Manage bank account details.
Locate the pending change.
Click Update details.
Make the required changes and click Save changes.
Acknowledge the disclaimer and select Confirm & agree.
Note: All principal owners will receive an email advising them of the uploaded pending change.
